During my university studies, I have been working as a research associate for the Research Centre for Renewable Energy of the University of Cyprus. This position has permitted me to participate in several national and European research projects in the field of smart energy systems and communications, where I have had the chance to lead several work packages.
During these years, I have cooperated with public and private organizations (mainly in Cyprus and Austria), where I have learned how to work and effectively communicate in international teams, deal with strict deadlines and produce high-quality outputs with attention to detail and accuracy. Moreover, my involvement in a professional research-led environment enabled me to develop a professional-based mindset beyond my student profile, which makes me confident that I can face greater challenges and achieve higher goals in the future.
As a student and research associate, I have developed a well-rounded skill set in data analysis, data collection and cleansing (Java, Rstudio, Python, MATLAB, Android Studio, C++), and business analysis. My skills also include critical thinking, project management, and effective writing and reporting, which I have acquired during my previous roles.
